![]() My Special Interests These include - but are not restricted to - women's issues, bereavement, loss, life crises, and illness / health challenges. I also work with a variety of other concerns, and have had some experience of working with women survivors of domestic abuse. My Approach As a Focusing-Oriented Counsellor, I value an approach that facilitates discovery of forward-living steps, and nurtures attitudes of openness and friendly curiosity towards oneself. |
My Practice My counselling practice is situated in Plumstead, Cape Town, and is accessible via public transport routes. Call What Counselling Can Offer Counselling can offer a safe, companioned passage through a crisis, a loss, an illness, or perhaps a more general sense of being ill-at-ease in the world. It can be a rich self-resourcing option for people who wish to explore and vitalise their life process and relationships, find a deeper sense of authenticity and a more satisfying "fit" in the world. The counselling relationship is a confidential space for attending carefully to one's suffering and life's journey, and discovering fresh forward-living capacities. Counselling can support new growth steps, which are more likely to happen in the attentive presence of another person than otherwise.
